Terrible After-Stay Service
We stayed here for 1 night in March 13 on our way down to Kangaroo Island. The accommodation was satisfactory, clean and comfortable. However the service after our stay was absolutely apalling. Firstly I left my phone charger in the room. I called the next day to check if it was there, and was told someone would call me back. When I called 2 days later after not receiving a call back I was told the same thing. I finally got hold of someone about a week later who told me there had been no charger found in the room. I definitely left it there! When I got home from Kangaroo Island, I found that I had received a bill from Hotel Rendezvous for mini-bar items, complete with a late payment and administration charge. We only took one item from the mini-bar, which we advised of and paid for when we checked out. I contacted the hotel about this (on a Sunday) and was told someone would call me back during the week. Noone did, and given the small value, I could not be bothered chasing them further.

Good location, very modern
This hotel is in a great location within walking distance of Rundle Mall. Staff are very attentive and rooms are modern and very comfortable. Breakfast buffet is not large but good quality, you can request your eggs be done any way which is a bonus. I would definately stay at this hotel again if travelling to Adelaide.

booked hotel on line a day before i flew back from an overseas trip arrived at the hotel at 9am they kindly had me in a room by 10.30 excellent service as it was sunday morning and hotel was still busy from saterday night not many hotels will do this for you so many thanks have stayed here before and will stay again many thanks to the kind staff

Not quite the 5 star it claims, but not bad
I booked Rendezvous mainly on location but also on amenities and price. The premises are OK but not quite 5 star in my opinion. A gold awning does not 5 star make. Rooms are quite well laid out but tend to a little road noise, but there is a sense of privacy for sure. The bathroom layout tend to put the loo somewhat hard to access at night and the wash basin needs manual manipulation to get the plug loose which means sharing the whiskers and soap with the hands after shaving. Bathroom accessories are a little light on for a self claimed 5 star, razors and toothbrush is the norm these days. The foyer is a bit YMCA, with a noisy open space and just over a bistro type mood which in my opinion is not conducive to a quiet drink after work. The front desk layout is rather like two funky lecterns and to my taste is a bit more funky than functional or friendly. The staff are polite and capable but never seemed to go out of their way for the extra mile. It is a place I would go back to if necessary but I would look to other locations for a richer experience.

Extremely happy
After a long flight and busy day, very happy to come to my room here. Very spacious, friendly as well. A monday night in Adelaide so not much to do so the room was where I stayed.Left very early in the morning so didn't have a chance to try the restaurant.
