Very Convenient
Stayed for business and the location is very handy and close to the Convention Centre. Staff are very friendly and rooms have everything that you need. Stayed in a few hotels around this area and even the more expensive ones don't have as much space. There's no room service, but can get delivery from local restaurants.

Great Location
We stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment on the first floor. Our room overlooked Hindley Street. The apartments are a good size and although we didn't use the kitchen it seemed well equipped. The bed was in need of replacement as it sagged terribly in the middle which was quite uncomfortable. The bathroom was large and had a washing machine and dryer in it. Because of the street noise you had to have windows and doors to balcony closed at night. Also you could hear people using the stairs. The apartments are in a great location and within walking distance to all inner city attractions. A previous review mentioned the smell in the corridors. It was bread being cooked from Subway which is next door.

Not bad
Decent sized rooms at an an alright price. Decent sized kitchen area, bathroom small but adequate. Lack of free wifi pretty terrible, very expensive for LAN internet, option for 24 hour or 2 hour purchase. $10 for 2 hours and nearly $30 for 24 is a little ridiculous. business centre not great and way overpriced. Decent size kitchenette, beds are comfy, room was cold but heater and air con is there if needed. Floor in one room very lumpy and not level in the middle.... I thought to myself, is the floor caving in? Nice view of car parks and dirty alley ways. Overall not a bad spot to stay, but you're not going to rave about it to your friends.

Very central
The location is very central and a short walk to the main shopping arcade. We were there on a Friday night and it was so interesting with large groups of young people gathering around buskers. There were plenty of different food options in close proximity to the apartment. We were on the 3rd floor and coming from a very quiet home found the noise from the street could be heard in the front room. The apartment was clean, comfortable and well maintained with everything you needed for 4 people. Bathrooms were adequate but would be difficult for anyone with a walking aid to navigate. Overall we had an enjoyable stay.

Nice place, but the smell!
While the rooms are nice enough, my entire experience of Miller Apartments has been soured by the smell in the corridors! We thought it might be the smell from restaurants, or perhaps the rubbish bins, on Hindley St. But whatever it is, it was overpowering! The rates were last minute from Wotif and we got a good deal. But I don't think I'll be staying here again any time soon!
