Brilliant location, excellent room, parking rip off.
This stay was excellent with the large one bed apartment overlooking the beach. Good sized balcony with quality table and 2 chairs. In fact all quality furniture and fittings. Stayed 2 nights but would be ok for up to 7 nights. Breakfast was good value, but service was slow - everyone turns up at the same time. The Bar and restaurants were dead ( Mon/Tues) nights.Only gripe was the parking $20 per day. Outside its $4 per hour - 24hrs.

A really great stay!
I have just spent a night at Oaks Plaza Pier in a 2 bedroom ocean view apartment and it was everything that I hoped for, and more! I was worried about staying there because of the negative reviews but needn't have! The location is brilliant - right on the beach and only a 5 min walk to great shopping in Jetty Road. The reception staff were friendly and very helpful. The rooms were spacious and well appointed and the bed soooooo comfy. Okay there are some small blemishes, ie a chipped tile, a hole in the curtain but nothing that would spoil your stay! We ate at the restaurant downstairs and it was really good too. Unfortunately my stay was too brief but I look forward to returning there again soon..

What a service
I am not going to stay again if their front staff are like this. No basic knowledge about customer service. Shame... It's called 4 star but the service is around 2 star rating. I talked to manager but look like he can't do anything.

What a view What a hotel PERFECTION
Hoyel has everything you could want from restaurants,bars,pokies which are on bottom floor. location is perfect with everything 5 minutes walk.Apartment was huge and spotless with everything seeming brand new.balcony was huge and beach views from living room and bedroom were great. room was so quiet and peaceful

spent a night at this hotel with my family in a two bedroom apartment and found the hotel very good the room was good size with nice facilities and the location was excellent. the restaurant downstairs was good also right on the beach and next to the beach house which is fantastic for the kids. would recommend...
