Good value for Sydney
Hotel is a couple of minutes walk from Central Station which is a very convenient location.Rooms are spacious, quiet and layout is very comfortable. The food that was provided for our inhouse conference was outstanding. The meals were delicious and varied with the freshest of ingredients. Thanks to the staff for their welcoming service.

disappointing -first time we had stayed at this hotel
Issue on the first night with wet carpet- no available rooms..Said that they would relocate us the next day. Relocated us to a lower standard room. Actually moved rooms three times in two days. Hotel didn't offer any form of compensation for our disturbances.

Practical/Functional
The hotel is basically a property where you turn up , check in and sleep.I spent a week there and that is the reality .This is not the best Novotel in terms of service and friendliness .Location is a challenge for the CBD and when booking you should be warned about the construction site opposite.

No frills, but good value with the right package
We took the kids to see the sights of Sydney for a few days. This hotel had a good online deal which I took advantage of - room plus a few extras, including parking, buffet breakfast and a free family pass to the Sydney tower. Overall, it was a good value deal.The room was clean and well presented, but looks tired - especially the bathroom. There was also some noise coming through from adjoining rooms. The buffet breakfast was of a fairly high standard and the staff on duty were friendly and helpful.You need to bring your walking shoes though, as most of the sights are a fair way away.

Favourite
I have been staying at this Hotel since 2000 and it is my favourite place to stay in Sydney. It has safe and secure parking that is easy to access. The staff at the Hotel are very welcoming and helpful. The rooms are clean, large and comfortable. It is only a short walk to Central Station, Darling Harbour, Markets, Entertainment Centre and Theatres in George Street. Light Rail and Monorail is also very close. All in all a perfect place to stay.
