Convenient location and affordable
Stayed here from May 20 to 24, booked with Trailfinders, the reason I choose this was the affordable price, it is the first time I've stayed near Hyde Park, the location proved excellent as it was 10 mins walk to Chinatown, Darling Harbour, City Centre. Also swimming and gym nearby at Cook and Phillip Leisure Centre. Was allocated a room on the 3rd floor to the back of the hotel, which was very quiet.One minor grumble is the late check in time which is very inconvenient when you arrive very early, but the reception staff were very understanding and explained the situation, just frustrating when you have come off a 12 hour flight.Otherwise the staff were excellent and helpful, also booked the airport shuttle from reception for the return trip to the Airport. Would definitely consider staying here again.

Best value for business travel in.CBD Sydney!
I have stayed at almost every 3-4 star hotel in.Sydney as I go there on business every few weeks. This Travelodge is by far the bestt value.for money, quality and location in the CBD. Good customer service and attitude.to boot!!

Convenient location for an affordable price
Stayed at Travelodge Sydney again on my most recent trip to Sydney. It still offers a comfortable stay for the price you pay. I can't fault it for its location as it's within walking distance to most things and close to the Museum train station. There are also convenience shops around in case you need anything. The staff are friendly and helpful. The reception does get quite busy at certain periods of time. And their luggage storage is a bit of a mess at best. But no issues with missing luggage or anything so it's secure enough. Some of their amenities are a bit worn but most importantly, it was clean. The room was comfortably spacious and the amenities sufficient. I really like how there's a mini kitchenette in each room and that there were enough mirrors in the room to enable getting ready for an event easier. Just be careful of the showers though. The shower curtains just aren't long enough so water splashes all over the bathroom when you take your shower. Keep the floor mat far away enough so you don't end up with a soggy floor mat!

Just OK for budget, not that great though
Stayed over one night with a group of friends, we had a triple room. Room was clean as was the bathroom but not sparkling clean. Bed was comfortable, air conditioner was quite noisy, one of the towels was damp but we called housekeeping and got replacements straightaway which was a plus. Front desk staff were courteous. Breakfast was adequate, not gourmet but can't expect more from this type of hotel. One negative was when I left my suitcase with the concierge after checkout. They put my bag into a room behind the reception desk with a tag attached and I was given the other bit of the tag. When I returned to retrieve my bag reception was busy with people checking in so they opened the door to the secure room and ask me and a few other people to find our own bags, the room was a mess with bags stacked on top of each other. After much looking I finally found my bag. In the mean time anyone could have entered that room and stolen any number of items and reception would have been none the wiser. I wasn't impressed with the slack security. Would think twice about leave my bag there if I ever stayed there again.

Budget and good location are the only things
I booked the hotel via agoda as it¿¿¿s the best deal and good location. The Hotel itself situates at the corner not easy to spot but the location is good, all attraction is within walk distance plus close to main road where free bus no. 555 pass. Lobby is small and internet is payable by hours or package. No free Wifi in public area. I stay in triple bed room so it locates in lower floor, luckily there was no noise from traffic outside. The room is small and I like they have sink, plate, mug, silverware etc so we can bring some food and eat. The only thing I want to emphasis is cleanliness. Housekeeping didn¿¿¿t do well. First day I intended not to change sheet to help environment but eventually 4 nights they didn¿¿¿t change at all even our sheet was dirty. They didn¿¿¿t do turndown properly. They threw used wet hand towel under the sink in bathroom, broke the rack next to toilet, no clean at sink in room we could see some small garage lie at the same place when we came back in the evening. So I think it¿¿¿s okay for short stay if you look for something budget with good location. You might want to try another Travelodge near harbor though.
