Excellent Experience
I recently stayed here for three nights. The rooms have been recently renovated. The bed was very comfortable. It is nice and quite at this hotel. The hotel is located on a beautiful golf course. Parking is free. The staff from the front desk to the concierge to the servers in the restaurant are professional and friendly. The food in the restaurant was very good as well.

What is there to complain about?!?!
We had a very nice experience at this hotel. Beds were very comfortable. Very clean and modern room. Sizable.Excellent bathrooms. Everyone from the front desk to the grounds people were extremely friendly. No A/C but you really dont need it. Ocean breeze was lovely to fall asleep to!

I am glad we were only there one night.
I was a little hesitant to book the Hyatt based on the many negative review, but I got a good deal and was only there one night. We were in room 1001 in, I believe, building 10. This was an allergy free room. That was the only good part about the room. The room itself needs major updating as the room is very dated. Some upgrades appear to have been made, such as the nice sink in the bathroom, but they just installed the sink on top of an old counter style fixture. It was very odd. Also, and this bugs me for all hotels/resorts that do this, they have a nice high definition TV in the room but only have analog available. Why have the HDTV then? On top of that, the channel selection is very limited, maybe 20 cannels. I know TVs should not be a big thing on vacation, but I am an insomniac and do watch TV when trying to sleep. The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. Check out was easy as they allow you to check out via the Internet. You set a time you want to check out and just leave. This was a nice option, but I would not return based on the other issues.

one night stop
Stayed at this hotel for 1 night following a stay at San Francisco. The hotel was lovely and clean and the staff very helpful. We had a car so could drive into Monterey, but can understand that this hotel could be a little out of the way. However as we only stayed for 1 night it met our needs. Check in was quick with no problems, we didnt eat in the restaurant but did have a few drinks later in the bar and lounge areas. There is a large fire pit a the rear of the hotel next to the golf courseOur room was spacious and the bathroom was fab (compared with the hotel at san francisco) we had a walk in shower. We also overlooed the pool area.Just wish we had stayed more than 1 nightwould stay here again and recommend to friends

Very comfortable but out of town
Hotel is visually stunning, rooms amazing, very comfortable.We didn't have an evening meal here but the breakfasts were out of this world.Customer service was fantastic throughout our entire stay.Nice, albeit small, pool area and jakuzzi.The only downside was it was a bit in the middle of nowhere and required a drive to get anywhere (or a reasonably priced taxi ride).
