Pleasantly surprised
Not expecting much, especially at such a low rate, but the room was large and clean, as was the bathroom...high floor with water view...check in was quick and painless (although it was after 5PM on a Wednesday off-season). Casino was not crowded, and here, as with others in AC, has large smoke-free areas, unlike Las Vegas. Staff was friendly as well...

A pleasant surprise!
The hotel staff members were very pleasant and accommodating, the room was clean & well furnished, and the food at Earl of Sandwich & House of Blues was very tasty! We will definitely come back again,

Stunk
This stay was a total disappointment! When I booked I should have been told that some of the restaurants would be closed. $6.50 for a bottle of Coors Light is just CRAZY... $11 and change to check in early which I would say is worth it. The House of Blues was a disappointment too just an average place to eat. I really have nothing nice to say about this stay.

Good Location, Great Casino, Room is Okay
Pros: great location; on boardwalk - can walk to Revel the more upscale casino and also can walk down the boardwalk to other casinos; Friday and Saturday nights are awesome in the House of Blues Party Pit (dealers with cleavage, dancing girls on platforms, $3 shots, live rock band playing, gambling = doesn't get much better than this); Earl of Sandwich has great casual and quick foodCons: rooms are just average - they are clean and good to go, but if you want nice and elegant definitely stay next door at the RevelCaesars/Harrahs rewards program has gone downhill in term of deals/offers but they still have the best program in town (let's see how long that lasts given the slide over the last two years).Here's the bottom line: if you are not picky and just coming to AC with buddies this is a great pick; if you are coming to AC with a significant other or want a more upscale experience my pick would be Revel or Borgata

Never again!
I stayed here in 2003 and was not happy. I stayed here again in June 2012 and the place has further declined. The room that they gave me was dirty. It was also extremely dusty and there was no table and chair. Also the room had no safe. In addition, housekeeping never came during the two days that I stayed at this establishment. I will stay at the other properties from now on.
