Nice hotel - Great Location
Location - Great Location. Located right on the bay, near all the Navy Ships & Yachts. 5 minute walk to Petco Stadium & the Gaslamp District.The beaches (Pacific Beach, Ocean Beach) are located about 10 minutes away. La Jolla was about a 20 minute drive in traffic.Service - The first valet staff we encountered was pretty rude. He wasn't too happy that we had 2 bikes with us, and acted like we were too much. They were nice enough to store these in their storage though. The Front Desk staff were very friendly and welcoming. Room - We upgraded to the 29th level, and had a great view of Petco, the bay and San Diego. We were going to be on a lower level, but paid an additional $20 per night, which was not bad at all. Definitely worth it. The room was a typical hotel room - it wasn't very spacious, but it was very comfortbale and welcoming. The beds were amazing. Bar - Very nice bar with outdoor seating as an option. Prices weren't bad ($12 for a gin & tonic) & around $6 for a beer. Overall, I had a great hotel & would recommend this hotel to anyone coming to a Padres game, conference or just wanting to be in a good central location to downtown.

comfy corner room with waterfront activity and city sky line views
sitting in the corner window I relaxed and looked at promenade and waterfront activities; The room had many windows and was bright and welcoming. The linen was so soft and fine and as a treat I took a soak in the tub before going to events at the Convention Center.At night there was fireworks over Petco Stadium. Service plenty , friendly and easy.Overnight parking for a day/night is $ 28.

I always expect a lot from Hilton, so I hold them to high standards. This property was incredible! Great service, great rooms, great views, great restaurant, great location, great fitness center, great pool.

Good conference hotel
Stayed there for four days as part of attending a conference. It was well suited for that purpose, excellent venue. It was also a short cab ride to the Gaslight District and across the street from the ball park.

Great weekend getaway
The Hotel is on the water with great views of the Bay or Downtown San Diego. It is an easy walk to the Gas Lamp District and a ton of great places to eat or have a drink. Overall a great place for a fun weekend or a longer vacation stay.
