Real people doing a real job
From arrival being greeted by Josie who's personality and welcoming smile made our long journey seem worthwhile to Steven assisting us daily at breakfast and not least of all by Jerry (Jemal) Whitehouse labouring to keep the place clean and in working order THANK YOU all.This hotel was our base for 7 nights. We caught the free courtesy bus backwards and forwards and the free Staten Island ferry to see the sights of New York. The place was a peaceful haven away from the hassle and bustle of each day.We stay in fine 5 star hotels all over the world and whilst this was not one of those it is the ONLY time I have felt it was time to comment on this site and all because of the wonderful staff.If you are travelling for a site seeing time in the big apple then I highly recommend staying here. Without a doubt it is not the Rockefeller centre, not Brooklyn bridge or even Times Square that will hold the test of time when it comes to memories but the hospitality and care and effortless endeavours of the wonderful people who looked after us at the holiday inn express that will remain.

Hi, This review concerns the service that we had on our Saturday morning in New York. We are often traveling from Montreal and passed by last week-end. Surprisingly, and it's not usual, everyone that was welcoming of serving us was very kind and helpful. I want to thanks particularly Stephen, the morning server, and his smile. He has been serving us very well and was always present to offer something and clean our table with a smile. THANK YOU STEPHEN!

Beautiful Hotel and Staff
Your hotel is beautiful and the rooms are immaculate. Your staff is second to none the service I received from Josie, Julianna Jamie and LIssette were second to none I would give them all 10 stars if I could. Only stayed for one night this trip but will definitely return and recommend this location to friends that frequent New York.
