Clean
Had to book at a quick notice ended up with a motel section room during Americade am not going into much here other then it was clean, front desk was nice but no one wanted to go any extra mile. As I said room was clean and maintained well but for sure a dated room for the money. It was a damp cool night with rain and was unable to get the heat to come on and the tile floors didnt help. Drapes will not close on the ends leaving a big gap for anyone wanting a free view into the room. Over rated over priced for what you get will not stay again.

OK hotel
The hotel was ok, was expensive due to staying during Americade. The TIKI theme was neat but it does make the hotel seem dated, it is seasonal so it has some of the musty smell to. It was fairly comfortable and seemed clean. We did have a ceiling leak while we were there and they upgraded us to a better room at no extra charge.

ALWAYS WONDERFUL!!! Enjoy the tiki resort so very much - the Staff really make a difference in making this place a great little retreat. And definitely don't miss the Paradise Lounge for a few cocktails & the Polynesian dinner show done by a wonderful Samoan family is a definite not-to-be-missed!!! Walking distance to downtown Lake George & the lake itself. LOVE The Tiki Resort!!

Great price, but oh so tacky.
Polynesian in the Adirondacks? Where's the logic in that? Well, I didn't pick the place. I was just here for a large group function, in October, when the town begins its hibernation season. Clean rooms and excellent prices, and parking right outside my room in the motel part. My one complaint is that the plastic cups supplied were so thin I ruined two of them trying to get them out of their hygienic plastic wrappers ... but didn't know it until my beer started leaking out!

Wasn't what we expected. Photos are decieving.
If you are going to the Tiki, I suggest that you rent a room from the hotel section and not the motel section. When we got there we were placed in the motel portion on the right side of the resort. The rooms had no carpeting. Only cold tile floors that were a bit slippery if wet or in socks.The rooms had all the usual things but seemed well warn. Our room was on the 2nd floor at the end near the pool and there is only one set of stairs in the center of the building. This was not very convenient. They have a large beautiful outdoor pool but the indoor pool was small and very run down and it was only 4 foot at the deepest end. During our stay they had a water pipe break and I had to wait 2 1/2 hours before I could take a shower. Kind of ruined half a day of sight seeing. . The hotel section looked very nice as we walked around looking for the fitness room.The lobby was pretty and the staff were ok. They also have a restaurant on premises and do a Polynesian show that we weren't able to attend. There is a bar and outdoor patio also. My suggestion is to pay the extra and stay in the hotel section if you are to stay at the Tiki Resort. I just don't think we will be staying there again any time soon.
