Very nice hotel
What stands out about this hotel are the elevators. Outside the bank of elevators is a keypad. Punch in the floor you need and it tells you which elevator to get on, It is wierd getting into an elevator and not pushing buttons. The rooms are nice, clean and comfortably sized. I was there for a convention. As seems to be usual in many hotels, the meeting rooms were too cold.

Great place
I needed a place to stay for a few nights while in town. I was very pleasantly surprised when I walked into my room. It was huge. There wasn't a view because it went out to the garage and that is about my only complaint. The room smelled fresh and clean. The bathroom was great and the desk office area was perfect.I would definitely stay here again.

High Level of Service Makes This Hotel
I have to admit, when I walked into the lobby and was greeted by a state convention, I thought I had made a terrible mistake booking this hotel. They proved me wrong. It takes a special kind of hotel to handle a large business group and make other guests feel welcome at the same time. The staff went out of their way to be friendly and took wonderful care of us. The room was above average and very clean and welcoming. Even with the hotel being full, the room was quiet. The newly renovated restaurant, Cooper's Mill, was beautiful with it's reclaimed barn boards. The restaurant staff were professional with a high level of service. Adrian made me feel like I was on a cruise ship! Try their delicious omelets-my husband raved about them all the way to the elevator! Thank you Westchester for an enjoyable weekend.

Wow!
The service at this Marriott was topnotch! The desk clerk who checked me in was professional, all the staff-just an amazing level of service. They have just recently redone the restaurant and it was beautiful. The best part of the restaurant was the waiter we had, Adrian. He was so extremely personable and professional-what a joy to have him as the person you interact with early in the morning at breakfast. Thanks Marriott for being what more Marriotts should be-clean, comfortable and very, very professional and customer oriented staff!

STAY AWAY FROM HERE
THE GOOD:Bartender Jim is ok...takes forever to get what you need if you're in a hurry, but he's got a good attitude. Bartender Rafael is THE perfect bartender. He should be the bar service manager here and train Jim on the need for speed.The food is awesome at the bar. Pizza, salad, and wings. All great.Gym is fantastic for a hotel.THE BAD:Housekeeping starts at 830AM. At that hour, the thin walls of the hotel release the loud sounds of people knocking on doors screaming "Housekeeping" and multiple vaccums.The hotel is shaped like a square, with the rooms surrounding a large indoor pool and dining area smack in the middle. Sounds nice. The problem is that on the second level, there is a large banquet area with permanent open access to this middle pool area, with all of the guest rooms/windows receiving ALL of the noises and echos (remember, its indoor). At 1AM, people in the banquet area were partying and laughing. LOUD. Then at 8AM, right before the housekeeping begins, the same banquet area is alive and well again with about 100 people listening to speakers, laughing, chatting. LOUD. Bad design.$270/night when we stayed. $12.95 internet access per day. WARNING: "Per day" does not mean a 24-hour cycle from the time you first login, e.g. 9PM to 9PM. Their intervals are from noon to noon. It's not communicated at the counter when I asked during checkin. And its not on the terms and conditions. When I called the front desk after being kicked out of LYNC while on a call, I was told, "oh they should have told you that last night." Not my god damned problem.Bar is decently priced but a crap cup of coffee in the lobby is not complimentary like other Marriotts I've stayed in. $2.15 for a cup of joe, and its not good.I will never, ever stay here again and will detract other customers as much as I can. Horrible place for a busiess traveler.
