Aloha spirit alive and well in Jamaica, NY
We stayed here after our return flight from Honolulu. We live in MD, but flew to Hawaii out of JFK and parked our car here while we were gone and stayed here afterwards to sleep off some of our jet lag. The staff are amazing. They talk about the Aloha spirit in Hawaii, but we didn't have to go that far to find it. Every staff person here was friendly and eager to help us. We were traveling with our daughters and they got lots of nice (not unwanted) attention. The breakfast was delicious too--lots of fresh fruit and eggs cooked to order. This is the second time we have parked and stayed at the JFK Garden Inn and both stays were fantastic.

Great
I enjoy the stay it's better then I expected a nice hotel the room was a little small but it was clean bed felt great tv kept making noise but ok hotel staff wasn't really helpful didn't tell you much where everything is located but other wise it was a great stay .

terrible parking problem
We stayed here as a Park-Sleep-Fly. We parked in their lot with the help of a hotel employee, so we knew we where in the right lot. When we returned a week later at 1:30 in the morning, we found that our car had been moved. The hotel had not had the car key, so the car had been moved on a flat bed trailer with the steering and the transmission locked. One of the tires had a large gash in it from the move. We had to change the tire. Then drive the 100 miles ate 40 mph, as we were using the car's "donut" tire. The hotel staff gave us conflicting stories about why the car had been moved (construction, too many cars in the lot). The next day the Manger told us it was because of TSA had reqired it. There was no attempt to care for the car or provide assistance or an explaination. I would not stay here again. I would urge you to use one of the other hotels for Park-Sleep-Fly at JFK.

Not impressed for the $$$
Some of the worse pillow I have ever slept, NO toilet paper, and only a hint of hot water for my shower. Go figure. Staff was efficient and friendly and a nice clean room. Great shuttle ride to the airport.

Excellent Customer Service & Convenient Location
We only stayed here one night with a layover at JFK but had a wonderful experience. The customer service at this Hotel was above and beyond. All of the employees and management were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel was under renovations at the time but did not pose any problems or any added noise. The decor is very modern and fresh and the room provided ample room for a short stay. The restaurant had very good food for breakfast and dinner. There was a charge for the breakfast but it was reasonably priced with a good selection of choices. The hotel even provided a happy hour in the evening with complimentary beer and wine. The location is very close the JFK, which is great for a layover but not really close to anything else within walking distance. The free airport shuttle was very convenient and leaves every half hour throughout the day. Again, I can't say enough about how pleasant and attentive the staff was during our stay.
