This was the first time we have stayed at a Country Inn and Suites and it was in my opinion an average hotel. The entrance was inviting and the staff was excellent. Everyone from the receptionist, to the maids, to the breakfast attendant was extremely welcoming and friendly.The rooms were clean and smelled fresh. The beds were comfortable. The kids were a little disappointed with size of the pool and no hot tub. And while I appreciate the fact that they do use chlorine in the pool...there was so much in it my eyes were burning and I wasn't even in the water. I didn't like the fact that the mirror and sink were not "in" the bathroom but right outside. I had a hard time getting ready in the morning without waking all the kids up. Didn't here any of the other guest staying in the hotel unless you were out in the hallway. Fairly quite in the evening...even with many youth in the building (we were attending a vball tournament). Breakfast was good...eggs, bacon, waffles, yogurt, fruit, cereal, etc. Try to go early and avoid the rush though...only a few tables to sit at...we had to take our breakfast back to our room and I noticed several other guest did as well. Coffee in the lobby 24-7 and cookies in the evening. There are vending machines available...but we were able to use the milk/juice machine in the dinning area that evening which was really nice. The staff is definitely what makes this hotel!!!

We have stayed at Country Inn & Suites for so many years, every place we go, but this stay was not the best. We had problems with 2 stays (on the way to and way home from our destination), where they charged our CC for the room when we paid cash for it. The room had the actual wall jack for the computer hanging out of the wall, the closet door didn't stay closed so had to put a shoe in front of it. We would not go to this one again.

Has a good bed to price ratio. (ONLINE deal)Free breakfast is really better than a lot of diners & for the price.Super friendly staff.It's really quick to get there from St.Louis and really saves SO much money for a short,(15min.from the Arch)drive. Not perfectly brand new, but clean and decent for a family. Good water pressure in the shower.No hot tub @ this location.

Check Inn was exceptional. We were able to check in early but even if it hadn't been available we were allowed to use the breakfast room to get some work done while waiting to check in. Dena called about 10 minutes after we got to our room to make sure everything was fine and asked if we needed anything. Chris the night desk clerk changed the bedding on one bed that a wet swim suit was left on. The General Manager introduced herself and was very polite.Breakfast: Very good! Eggs, Ham, Waffles, and Oatmeal topped the hot breakfast. Cereal, muffins, & bagels for cold. There was also fresh fruit and granola bars. The juice wasn't great but Dena was apologetic that the food delivery was late. They offer To-Go breakfast for people who need to get on the road fast.Checkout was easy and Dena made sure to invite each guest back. That's the kind of service that isn't easily found in 2 star hotels in America anymore.Library: The Lobby offers a nice sized library of books you can borrow if you want something to read.Fitness Room: 2 treadmills, an eliptical, and a stationary bike. Basic but does the job.Pool: Although the site I booked with says it has a hot tub and shows one in the back ground of the pool it does NOT have one. This has been replaced with a handicap accessible chair allowing disabled visitors to use the pool. The pool towels were not replenished and many people had to walk through a freezing hallway to the elevator. (You have to walk by the lobby doors on your way to the elevator. When it's 30 degrees and lower out this is not pleasant if you are wet.OTHER PROBLEMS: The heating vents in the pool area do have some rust on them. Also the bathroom vent in our room had a great deal of dust in it. This may have been an oversight as the lobby restroom's ceiling vent was clean. TIPS: Take your own towels down to the Pool Room and put dry clothes or at least a robe on before returning to your room. Eat breakfast early when possible. Be nice to the staff (including morning maids) and they bend over backwards to make your stay an excellent one.

This was a smaller hotel than other Country Inn and Suites we have stayed in. It was still a good place to stay. Manager and breakfast staff were polite and friendly. Facilities were clean and pleasant. Would stay here again.
