Great stay--great location--great staff!
This was a great hotel in a perfect location. The staff were amazing! Rooms were perfect...a wonderful grocery store next door and you could walk to almost all theatres from the hotel. Estela made sure our stay was excellent and checked in on us during the stay. I have stayed in a number of Hilton Garden Inns and this tops them all. I can't wait to go back and stay there again!

Location Location Location
We have stayed here several times, mainly because of the hotel's proximity to Times Square, Broadway and other attractions. The rooms are good sized, the restaurant is excellent and the staff are top notch. Recent renovations have made the rooms more pleasant, although ours had not yet been outfitted with a couch, which was a surprise to the front desk! Charles the doorman is vary helpful with luggage and grabbing a cab. We will return.

Nice front desk but very rude operator
Had two stays in this hotel,once in summer 2012 and once in January 2013. The front desk personnel are very nice; however, when I called ahead on my second stay, the person who answered the phone (I assume the "operator"; I believe he was French or African) was very rude when I was simply checking on my reservation. It was unacceptable.During my first stay I had a corner room, which are very spacious, so if that matters to you, make sure to request a corner room.Obviously the best part of this hotel is the location (Broadway and Times Square)

Great return to NY City!
Traveler from abroad, having visited NY city 4 times before. Hilton Garden Inn was a wonderful surprise; far more comfortable than any previous hotel ! Great location, spacious room, most-comfy bed. Friendly & helpful staff incl. Charles at concierge. Great to have fridge and microwave in room. Stocked up at the Food Emporium (ready-to serve food above, huge supermarket below) and highly recommend restaurant Thalia (both a 2 min walk). Would stay only here again; booked on Broadway.com - very good room rate.Travelled over [busy] Spring Break time; only a postive experience.

5 star experience
Our experience at the Hilton was a 5 star experience! Upon arriving at the hilton garden inn Einnio and ken were there to greet us with a smile and take care of our bags. We were treated like hilton honour members. Front desk services Alfredo and Carlton were extremely accommodating and made sure we were 100% satisfied and taken care of. When we first came here we weren't expecting to stay here for our entire trip but after a couple nights we just had to. We loved the staff, the location is perfect. It's a quick walk to time square and good restaurants. Our next trip to New York we will definitely be coming back to the Hilton garden inn Times Square.
