Just ok
I stayed here for one night in March on my own. The hotel is located close to the Fieramilanocity and the Parco Sempione. 45 minutes walk to the Duomo. The receptionist was friendly on arrival and throughout so good marks for that. I was nonplussed with my room though. It was plain and had all you needed and that should suffice for a three star I suppose. However, a little bit more comfort or design would go a long way. The mini bar was not fully stocked and the metal window shutter was all the way down making the room feel like a cell. I could not raise it so had minimal daylight. I would check if it can even be raised as if not then do not stay here. To be fair, I did not check with reception as I had a short stay. Surely it can be lifted?! I did check the exterior of the hotel and noticed every single room had the metal shutter pulled down ... Breakfast was fine, usual croissants and simple meats/cheese with coffee. Price was about ¿¿¿80 which is ok for Milan I gather. I just got the impression you could do better for the money, but if not this is serviceable, clean and safe and that might just be enough for you.I'd give 2.5 stars out of 5

You get what you pay for but good alternative to the main city
Really good tram line right outside the hotel into the centre, it's a great alternative to some of the more expensive hotels in Milan but you get what you pay for , small room , not exactly the cleanest as bathroom seems old and a bit damp , good bus route nearby to lotto station if going to San siro , customer service was excellent , all staff spoke English and were helpful, bar is very modern , it's a basic hotel really, wifi only worked downstairs for us although hotel advertises free wifi throughout, definately worth a second look if going to Milan on a budget and not fussed about the hotel

Mid-range hotel. OK for price/value.
Welcoming person at reception, Room was quite small but for that price was good. Rooms 232 ( to garden) and 235 ( street view ) has balcony, not that there is an amazing view but still nice to have. Breakfast was decent. Room 232 was smokers.

Value for money
We chose this hotel based on reviews, price and location. 5 nights put us back just 100 Euros each, and it was worth every penny. We loved getting the tram into the city, it added to the whole experience, the staff were lovely and very helpful. Breakfast was very good, again considering the price; rooms were clean, towels replaced every day and we generally had a fantastic stay. Only thing I'd would have to say is that the walls really were paper thin... no need for imagination here..

Rooms are very small but I guess that is normal for most of the old hotels in Milan. Noise may be a problem if you are looking for a quiet place, next room is actually your room. There is tram very close to the hotel, it is relatively an advantage. Location is not very bad. you can even walk to several tourist attractions.
