The staff were friendly and helpful the room was dilapidated but close to train station so handy, price was ok...wouldn't choose it for a long stay but it was ok for an overnight stay. Bed was comfy, breakfast was ok too but nothing special.

i spent few days in Milan with my friends.Hotel is near center and piazza Republic.We can go by walking to city center about 20 min.Hotel is small.Room is ok for short stay.Ventilation is not adequate,so in the room was very hot.Our bathroom had not regular door, only plastic wall.Breakfast is good ,and staff were very friendly.

It is a honest hotel with good breakfast and service. Our room was a little old, but at all it was a good price x localization choice.Brera is a great neighborhood full of live and restaurants. You can go by walking in 15 min till Duomo.

i was here for a 'trip down memory lane' meeting a Swiss friend of mine as we often travelled to Italy from Geneva in the 1980s. The staff were very friendly but my room was very very small and immediate vicinity not very pleasant. Not far from metro Republica which was good. However, on the day of departure I found a lovely restaurant next door - after not finding a restaurant recommended by reception - 'La Bistecca' - really good food and wine and not expensive. Not bad for just two nights.

Our seven night stay was included in a City Break package. A bed and breakfast hotel but they do serve coffee in the reception area at all times of day and night. We were shown to room 310 facing the piazza and it was absolutely ghastly, small, dark and stank of tobbacco especially when the noisy fan came on in the bathroom which had a vinyl folding plastic door. This is supposed to be a "No Smoking Hotel" !! The state of the plastic shower cubical was dreadful full of rust and mould, we didn't sleep all night what with the sound of roaring traffic and ambulances racing to the hospital opposite which has an A&E. Also people shouting in the street until the early hours whilst smoking outside the very good pub/bistro right next to the hotel. Room was small with quite an old TV and only one plastic chair to sit on between us. The plastic coat hangers had broken off their hooks The next morning we asked to change room to somewhere quieter and were shown to room 215 at the back of the hotel looking over private houses which was a much better proposition. This had been refurbished in the past couple of years, it was still small with a wooden upright chair, we had to sit on the bed if we wanted to watch the TV or read. The mini bar glass door had been kicked in, but after complaing was changed immediately. Both rooms had a security safe in the wardrobe. The bathroom had a window and fairly decent tiles but maintenance was very poor as the hand basin had come away from the wall and very badly repaired, it still had the folding vinyl door but slightly newer. The entrance hall/lounge was very bright and welcoming, the breakfast room was also bright but somewhat kitsch - 60's style with murals and plastic flowers and plastic cakes and food displayed in bowls. Breakfast buffet had an excellent choice but some of the items weren't very appetizing, hot tea and coffee from a self service machine. On the plus side the hotel is in a very good location, near bus routes, trams and the Metro, it was a 20 minute stroll to the Centre of the city and the cathedral square. The staff were very helpful and friendly and most of all the whole hotel was warm. Free WiFi thoughout. Plenty of good places to eat nearby at reasonable prices and a supermarket right next door which was a bonus. I cannot remark on value for money as ours was a package break.
