I recently stayed at the Hyatt St Louis "The Arch" for 2 nights, the hotel is well appointed with plenty of food choices in a good part of town. The room was a little disappointing, not quite up to Hyatt standards. Service and check in were excellant. Overall I would stay here again.

Nice hotel, rooms clean and bed very comfortable. Pillows too!! Bathrooms were Very nice and clean with a modern touch!!! Starbucks located on the inside which was a plus for me. Staff was very friendly.

I stayed at the Hyatt downtown St. Louis for almost a week and my experience was not up to Hyatt's high standards. Check in was amazingly fast but however when I arrived to my floor I was a little confused. I follwed the signs as I walked down the hall. What was really surprising was the fact I had my luggage and looked like I needed assistant. I past two housekeepers in the hall who were talking. They didn't acknowledge me so I kept walking. When I arrived to my room I was impressed. The view was beautiful. It wasn't the Arch, but a beautiful view of the court house, other beautiful buildings, and the park. Each day my experience changed as my housekeepers did. One day the housekeeper folded my used towles and put them back in place. Another day they forgot to empty both trash can which food was in one. I emptied my own trash and bought air freshner because the room no longer smelt fresh. I'm not sure if they have air freshner but I didn't smell it. I called down to housekeeping tell them the issues I've been having but I didn't get an answer. I decided to never return instead. I didn't want housekeeping service anymore but forgot to place my privacy sign on the door before leavming for the day. My last day in St. Louis was terribly stressful and was awaiting a long flight in the morning. When I walked in the room I smelt a familiar scent (BLEACH). Just smelling the bleach made me think my room was clean as I walked in I noticed every shining as if the room was smiling at me. It made me smile and I felt calm. My bed had fresh sheets and she even folded my pajamas that were on the bed. On the desk sat a welcome card signed by Tiffany H. With a heart and she wrote hope you had a beautiful day and a wonderful stay. Little did she know she made my day. I found her personally the next day and thanked her. To bad my overall service was bad. I could never return knowing 1 out of 5 housekeepers show concern. So please stay at your own risk.

We had an impromptu visit to St. Louis and found ourselves staying at the Hyatt. At night we walked the streets and it is in a great location. Decided to do horse and carriage ride which was fun. We had an amazing view even though our room didn't face the arch. We woke up to find the streets below alive and chaotic. We then realized that the vp parade was that morning. We simply checked out and grabbed a front row spot for the parade. Our 4 year old couldn't have been happier. We had excellent service and the room was very nice. Would highly recommend.

This hotel is in a great location. It is well appointed with small extras. I was there to attend a conference and had forgotten my medications. The staff helped me find a pharmacy and even offered to go get it for me if they didn't deliver. I was very impressed with the staff and the service. The food at the conference was very good and clearly marked gluten free for those needing that information.
