Great location
The location was perfect as it was a minute walk from the Bayswater tube. Made it very handy for getting around London. The staff were very friendly and our room was upgraded when we booked in without requesting it. The room was small enough but very warm, comfortable, clean and modern design. I would gladly stay here again for city break.

Unreliable reservation!
I arrived relatively late in the day and therefore I had called the hotel to make sure that the would't give away my room but when I arrived exactly that had happened. The tried to make excuses and calmed that they had tried to call me which they had not. Rather it seems to be a standard procedure in this hotel to over book and send even guests with a valid reservation away.In this way they are taking advantage of travelers who arrive late in the night and have not way of finding another hotel. Don't go there it might also happen to you!Another woman who was also waiting there and I and were sent to another hotel (which was clearly lower standard) for the night. There would have been better hotels just around the corner but of course I din't know then. I was told I could come back the next day which I did but should not have. The room they gave me was nice and clean but tiny. When I told them they should send a cab to get my luggage from the other hotel they didn't know how to do it and I had to go myself. At least they payed for the cab ride but they were extremely unfriendly and also didn't apologize that I had to go to another hotel. Over all it is not worth the trouble too book this hotel. The rooms are okay but the service is unfriendly and you cannot rely on your reservation.

enjoyable stay
good place for when you just really need somewhere to stay and close for sightseeing in London, my room was small but it had a good bed and toilet/ shower facilities in the room. It just needed to have a fridge to be an excellent room, although there probably not enough room for a fridge.

Lovely experience
The staff were very helpfull in giving us directions and things to do it was our honeymoon so chan was nice and upgraded us to their club room. Hotel was in a great location rooms were quite mall but that is normal for London. Premier is an easy bike ride to all major attractions in london

What are the Shaftesbury group up to?
I booked at least 5 days in advance on lastminute.com for 20 May 13. Subsequently I read some reviews that made for bad reading. No rooms, taxi trips to another hotel etc etc. Surely the hotel would have learnt its lesson. Oh no it hadn't!! I arrived punctually, in the early afternoon and they were waiting for me. They were pretty slick at telling me there was no room and that I would be reallocated to another Shaftesbury hotel. That almost seemed to be overbooking as a policy. I had booked Notting Hill because it was close to where I needed to go for a business dinner. Get a grip Shaftesbury group. My trip to the hotel selected (Kensington Townhouse, London) is reviewed elsewhere. Safe to say it brought on my PTSD -read that review separately.
