So impressed. Got a great price and as they are apartments did not expect daily room service was pleasantly surprised to have this included. The apartments were very roomy, family apartment was main room with bathroom, kids room with bathroom, big lounge area, great kitchen and equipment, laundry, big study and balcony. Was very very clean, comfortable beds, plenty or crockery cutlery etc. Customer service very efficient and polite with a smile! Only 5 min out of main GC area but we liked this as there was gardens all around and the highest you can go is 8 stories high. We even had city and river views. Very close to Australia Square, Seaworld, transport and other shops, cafes and pubs. Would definetly stay again and recommend to others.

this place is by far the best value for money in southport!! I would expect to pay $150 per night minimum for this type of self contained one bedroom room due to the space cleanliness & modern facilities trully a great experience will stay there from now on for work trips. Really friendly staff most impressed!

We, that is four of us (2 couples) arrived at the seaside town of Southport on Australias Gold Coast with nowhere booked to stay. A quick check on Google gave us the address of the 'Meriton serviced apartments' which sounde ideal as it was a 2 bedroomed with all the necessary stuff.We had some trouble finding the place as the GPS was not working properly. A fact that was backed up by signs at the roadside saying ignore your GPS. Seems like they have a problem with this at the moment as the city is being transformed to be ready for the 2018 Commonwealth games. However we finally got round the roadworks and arrived at the Meriton, First impression ... looks lovely, staff very nice, appartment on top floor with great view of the sea on one side & river on the other. The lounge/kitchen/dining atrea was all you could ask for, very well equipped. a batthroom for each bedroom , everything clean and orderly.We looked on the apartment info book to find about eating and as the Meriton has no restaurant they ordered food from a very large variety of restaurants around the town.We ordered a pretty good Indian meal and ate it in the apartment as it had been a long drive and we were weary. There wasalso Greek,Japanese,Mexican,Italian,French,Chinese,Thai, & Indonesian cuisine available (sorry to any country not mentioned as they could have been on the list).Possibly the best was yet to come as the beds were probably the most comfortable I have ever slept in.. All in all apart from the chaos in the roads of the area it was a great place to go & stay.Underground parking was on 2 lower levels and with loads of space. Swimming pool looked good but didn't have time for a swim.I might just go back in 2018 for the Games.

This was my first stay at the Meriton Southport and it certainly won't be my last. First class accommodation, service & price. The bed was super comfortable (I want one in my own home - and have emailed the hotel for the brand!!) I stayed on the 12th floor, with views to the south. Quiet, comfortable, super clean & handy to all the shops & restaurants. Well done Meriton - you have won me.

Excellent overnight stay here. Great value. Staff were great and the older chap who resides in one of the apartments was kind enough to lend us an umbrella to go out for the night. Comfy bed, big bath, laundry facilities all great. Would stay again at this or any meriton based on this experience. $5 to park underneath was a bargain!!
