Rude and inflexiable
I found the accommodation to be of a good standard, but certainly not the cheapest in town. Twice we have found the woman on the front desk confrontational and downright rude. She refused to check in a family before the 2pm check in time and on the second visit, decided to unleash a torrent of abuse on my mother in law when she checked out. there are several holiday parks with in the same vicinity and I will try another one next time.

Great value for money!
After free-camping most of our way from Adelaide, we decided to live a little when we arrived at Geelong Riverview. We stayed on an ensuite site for 2 nights and loved the park and it's location. It is about a 10 minute drive into the Geelong CBD - definitely not walking distance for us oldies! Lots of trees and a nice feel - however the only disappointment was the noise of the Spa Cabins, from the spas themselves. I'd perhaps suggest moving the cabins away, or maybe some further sound-proofing on a more economical front.Apart from that quite minor gripe, we would happily stay again. Thank you to all the staff at the Geelong Riverview Tourist Park!

Great place to stay!
We stayed two nights for a little family getaway over the school holidays and loved it. Only things that could be improved were the pillows and bed comfort for cabin 77. Other than that everything was devine! Close proximity to a park, a par 3 golf course and shopping centre to fill your cupboards for your the stay in the self contained kitchen (oven included). Check in staff were friendly and efficient. The kiosk/cafe at the front of the park served decent food with reasonable prices although the pancakes would have been so much better if they were homemade and not packet. The rec centre was fun with numerous computer games and table tennis with a big screen for the footy. A pool table would be a great inclusion?We made our way into the city centre on the sunday and It was FANTASTIC! Thomas the tank engine train rides for $5 return trip to sightsee along the entire esplanade, boats & helicopter rides, merry go rounds, giant ferris wheel, and an awesome swimming pontoon for adults and a separate children's pool. Both filled with ocean water and both absolutely FREE! AMAZING!!Thanks for a great stay GRTP we're already planning our next :)

very economical and well appointed
I stayed one night with 2 children and found this excellent value. We had a very well equipped and super clean cabin. All linen was provided, which was a winner. Air conditioner and welcoming balcony were both used. Staff were friendly, park facilities well appointed and location ideal. Thanks

Silence of suburbia
Booked a family cabin for the night, had all the conveniences I required. Lovely surroundings, peaceful setting. Great to walk the riverside area and meet the locals. Cabin should have been cleaner - looked like a long, hard summer. Cobwebs on the light fittings, dust atop the aircon and don't even look behind the oven!
