Great customer service with price, excellent accommodation - stayed in cliff ocean view Bungalow, weekend getaway to recharge battery was perfect very peaceful, highly recommended holiday destination. John & Rosemery.

We stayed 2 nights in the 2 bedroom "The Point" cliffside villa. Fabulous location with sweeping uninterrupted views east and north over the ocean and along the beach. And quiet too, apart from the relaxing roar of the surf on the beach and the rock platform below us.The villa is comfortable for 2 or even 4, although (given the high price) it would be an unpleasantly tight fit for any length of stay if the second bedroom was fully occupied (it has a double bed plus 2 bunks in the same space). Six in that size of villa sharing a single bathroom and toilet would only work for quite short stays. It is well equipped for self-catering, if everything worked....While the villa was clean and the whole resort park was obviously very well maintained, it was disappointing that the gas heater did not work beyond the base setting. The fact that there was a notice on the wall about this problem indicated that this was obviously not a short-term thing and so it was doubly disappointing that we were not advised on check-in. Given the high price charged and the season, surely a supplementary or replacement heater could have been installed. Similarly the dishwasher did not work - not a big problem for us over 2 nights, however. We put up with these glitches given our short stay and the weather being milder than predicted, but really not good enough for the price.Overall an enjoyable stay, but certainly not good value for money.

We stayed for 3 nights in an ocean view spa villa. On the positive side, the resort is in a wonderful location with some camp sites and cabins having water views. The grounds of the resort are immaculate and clean, as are the facilities. It has everything you need ... 3 pools, games room, tennis court (only $5 to hire including racquets/balls), volleyball, jumping pillow, plenty of areas to cook food, cafe , free wi-fi, TV room, the list goes on. I think if you were camping this would be the best park. Plus you have the sound of the ocean to go to sleep to!Our cabin was very private and spacious. It had views of the ocean/beach and, as it faced north, it had plenty of sun on the covered verandah. It had everything you needed for a great holiday.Merimbula itself is a lovely little town with a terrific boardwalk around the ocean inlet. We saw a seal, stingray, plenty of crabs and other creatures. You must also go to bar beach kiosk and have a coffee with a view! (Note that this kiosk closes in winter)On the negative side, the beds are average and our cabin was a bit grotty. It is also a bit dated. If it had been cleaner and newer I would have given this place 5/5. It appears some areas are cleaned well, but some parts had not had a good clean for a while. When I pulled back the sheets I found 3 different hairs! A first I thought the sheets hadn't been changed, but I think they had. Maybe their laundering isn't very good?? Anyway I got over it and ended up having a wonderful stay.

Once again thank you, as always our stay was just beautiful, camping on the cliff, the best view and sleeping to the waves crashing against the rocks, then into a cabin for our last few days, the staff are great, even though it was school holidays the toilets and whole park was spotless, nothing better than coming here and can not wait to bring the rest of my family to see and enjoy what we love so much, Thank you again and yes we will be back for i think our 7th time now, :) Mandy and Paul

I've been to Merimbula Beach Resort many times and it is always wonderful. Rates are affordable, location is unbeatable and the rooms are always clean.The Resort backs onto one of the best beaches in Merimbula so no matter where your accommodation is on the park you can be there within a 5 min walk. Location out of town is maybe a little too far to walk to and from if you have kids but adults shouldn't have an issue. The park also does a wonderful job of providing activities and had a band playing one of the nights we were there.We stayed in one of the Oceanview Bungalows and it was really roomy and relaxing. The cabins were a little dated but upon just checking their website to confirm the name, it seems that have done some refurbs recently which is great. The pool was amazing for the cooler evenings when the beach wasn't an option and we found the staff to be super friendly and helpful during our arrival and checkout. I've always had such a great experience at Merimbula Beach resort that I would stay again in heartbeat.
