just an ok stay
one of the receptionist was a little grumpy, but helpful; the rest of the staff were helpful and friendly.the room was ok, however the amount of dust around the edges made me wonder what was living there!a few things needed attending to by maintenance (toilet not flushing, no light bulbs), however, the staff were again helpful and quick to sort it out. the location was perfect, close enough for walking distance to town and the train station with our luggage, but not too close that we had evening noise.

Great position
This hotel is in a great position right near the museum. It is close to all shops and eateries. We found the room quite large and was clean and tidy. The ladies at reception were always cheerful. I would stay here again and have recommended it to friends.

great location
A friend and i stayed for just one night and this hotel met our needs. We arrived on an early flight and thought we'd try our luck with check in the reception lady was fantastic our room wasnt ready but she found another for us. there was a notice on the table in the room that they are undergoing refurbishment (which explained why we had no minibar). While the room we had was very tired and old it was very clean and quiet with comfortable beds. It is located one street away and walking distance from the main drag. We checked out early the next morning with again a very helpful and friendly reception staff.

Very good clean and comfortable room even though the establishment is aged. Great location in Kalgoorlie in walking distance to shopping and pubs. Room service meal not so great but breakfast in the restaurant was OK?

Terrific Reception
Check in was prompt and friendly with one of the best receptionists we've met.The room was very neat, well appointed and generously supplied with tea, coffee and biscuits.The restaurant had a reasonably extensive menu and wine list ... both in upper price range. The food was very good, staff were excellent even though the service was sometimes a bit slow.Would happily recommend it to other travellers.
