It's pretty obvious that the woman running this place has some serious emotional problems. I walked in to hear her shouting. I quickly walked passed the front desk to the left as it was a horribly uncomfortable situation to watch the manager yelling at some poor employee. As I walked down the hall, there are doors with the door handles completely ripped off and the door wide open to a clear view of the pool...which is about half filled and completely green. I walked the other way and the sign that's supposed to show on the freeway is ripped off and hanging by a thread and about to blow onto the freeway. That was about the time that I'd had enough went to the hospital for a tetanus shot and a full blood screening. If you plan on staying here, I'd suggest you have some VERY good health insurance, and you might want to think about some life insurance too as I was shocked that I wasn't stabbed by a hobo while there. Also, make sure to wear a lot of bug spray because come summer that pool is going to ensure that everyone who stays there gets West Nile Virus.

I recently stayed at this hotel with my family. This place is a dump. The lobby is dirty. The hall floors look like they have not been vacuumed in weeks. One bright side was there was a Front Desk Clerk named Joseph who was trying his best to help me out even though from what I later found out he was only hired a couple days earlier. All the time while his manager was overlooking his shoulder yelling obscenities and insults towards him. After seeing the room and the hotel me and my family decided to just check out and go stay elsewhere.

I know money is tight for some travelers, but a cheap place like this should be avoided. I will be brief, stay away from this hotel not worth your money. Location wise was perfect to be near the strip is the only positive thing i can say about this place.

First they lost our reservation and had only a smaller room. We asked to see it as the lobby sported trash and dead plants. The elevator was small and dilapidated. The floor smelled offensive and had not seen a vacuum in sometime. As we left I told the front desk that I had never been in such a dirty hotel. This comment was met with absolute agreement!

This was the worst hotel we have ever experienced in all my many travels. After going 10 rounds with the front desk associate and then the manager on duty, we were stuck paying and we didn't stay! It was so bad, we left and continued our late night drive all the way to our son's in Los Angeles. This place was filthy from head to toe. We should have realized it was terrible just from outward appearances before we went in the front door. Signage outside was gone; umbrella table outside was broken and on the ground; many window curtains on each floor were off their rods and dangling. It looked like an abandoned slum building. The elevator was so dirty, I didn't even want to ride in it. But we went up to our room and found the key didn't work. I thought we were in an old "B" movie when we looked at each other and together, decided it was time to "Get out of Dodge!" Had we stayed, I would have been afraid to eat their continental breakfast the next morning. We could have stayed on the Las Vegas strip for a comparable price, but we wanted to get a short distance away from the hub-bub of the Strip. It was only a couple of blocks but a world away from anything else in the area. Do NOT book a stay here. If anyone writes a good review, they must be Claremont employees or the owner. That would not be a review from one of their hotel guests. This hotel should not be allowed to be on reputable sites like Expedia and Tripadvisor needs to evaluate this hotel. I was very disappointed to see the Tripadvisor sticker on their filthy front window.
