The best on the strip!
Let me start off by saying that I love PH. I can't say anything bad about it! It have the best location, great food, awesome shopping, high energy casino, fun clubs... I loved Peepshow when it starred Holly Madison, not so much with Coco. The cocktail service is great and the drinks are delish! In MIracle MIle, there are tons of great shops, bars and restaurants. There is even a Jamba Juice and Coffee Bean! I will always be loyal to PH and continnue to play, stay, eat, drink and shop here!

Poor service and poor quality of hotel room :(
I stayed at Planet Hollywood for 3 nights on a holiday where I stayed in various locations in Vegas. When we walked in we were shocked to see such a huge queue at the check in station, after you've got off a lengthy 10 hour flight the last thing you want to do is stand around and wait for half an hour - forty-five minutes... with ALL your luggage! All of the tills weren't even manned.. shocking considering it was prime check in time (2pm - 5pm normally). After the lengthy wait we got to our room, we requested a non-smoking room but to me it smelt of smoke... very slightly but my friend insisted it didn't so I kept quiet. To my absolute disgust down the size of my bed there was about four pieces of half eaten toast and broken sunglasses. It made me wonder if they'd actually cleaned the room at all?! The rest of the room seemed clean but you just don't know when you see things like that! The room just looked like it needed a good refurb... the furniture was quite battered! When I called housekeeping to come and clean up the mess left from the last guests she didn't seem to understand the problem, we arrived back to our room to find a maid in there who said quite rudely "I was told you wanted your room vacuumed?" and I calmly explained there was half eaten toast and broken sunglasses by the bed, she picked it up and walked out... but she left the sunglasses! That just killed me and I couldn't be bothered to call up again as the staff just seemed completely oblivious. We had room service whilst we were there which was nice enough and the waiter was lovely.The only great thing about this hotel was the spa, it was so nice and the ladies in there were amazing. I had a massage and a pedicure and I think they were done to a really high standard.The casino lacked a bit of variety... we thought the other hotels were better for the slot machines. I was quite shocked that we had to pay for WIFI in the hotel... I didn't personally take up this service but you'd think in this day and age it would just be a complimentary service. We wanted to see the Peepshow as well which was starring Coco Austin at the time but we were told we couldn't see her until the day we left as she was on vacation, it just added to the bad experience I had there. The hotel was quite inexpensive, nevertheless when you stay in such a famous hotel such at Planet Hollywood you'd naturally expect a better service. I would happily pay a bit more money and stay somewhere better on the strip. It does have a great location but they need to really up their game!

Great Location & Price
Great location. Best value on center strip. We were in a Hollywood hip strip view room and it did view the strip, but was right above the pool. The music at the pool was noisy, but totally tolerable. We wished the window was bigger because it felt small in comparison to other rooms we¿¿¿ve stayed in while visiting Las Vegas. We could see the fountain at Bellagio if we craned our heads to the right. The rooms that directly viewed the fountain were available at $50 more per night. The room was a nice size with an extra large bathroom. Separate shower (the water pressure was extremely high ¿¿¿ too high), separate tub and toilet room with a door. Great to have easy access to the Miracle Mile mall. Easy access to Starbucks and Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. Annoying people constantly trying to sell things to you in the mall by yelling for you, asking if you want a coupon and calling you crazy when you declined a coupon, asking where you¿¿¿re from, etc. Sky bridge to the Cosmopolitan, but during our 4-day visit, the escalators outside were on sporadically. Off more often than on leaving thousands of people to climb the escalator as if it were stairs. Minor complaints all in all, still good value all things considered. We are in our early 30¿¿¿s and would stay here again for the price, but our recommendation would be to try the Cosmopolitan if in your budget.

Room wasn't clean
We arrived in the evening, luckily receiving an upgraded room. However, when I walked into the room, I was horrified to find it uncleaned. Bed was unmade, dirty laundry, etc. in the bathroom. YUK! They eventually prepared the room while I was out for dinner. Never could get the wireless to work over a 4 day stay...even though I was charged over $20 extra..."resort charge" to cover the wireless and fitness, etc. I would not choose to stay here again....ever.

great to be back
stayed here a couple of times and it was good to be back, got booked before the resort fees were implemented so some saving there. had to pay $15 for early checkin - only about an hour ! room on the 50th floor - I don't think there really is that may floors but that's what the lift said. room was good clean bed was very comfortable and room was quiet and not tiered like the lower floor rooms I've been in, ate at Planet Dailies and Gordon Ramsey's Bergr- all good, show your rewards card for a few bucks off. great fun casino and sports bar for some quiet time -would stay there again
