Once you've been approved for Hotwire's affiliate program, you can view all of the link codes, and preview the banner and text ads in the Create Links section of LinkShare.
There is no limit to the amount of Hotwire content you can feature on your site. We do caution you about using too many links or banners; they can make browsing difficult. Instead, try to incorporate links or banners into the content of your pages for the best results.
We recommend always placing links or banners above the fold (i.e., above the point at which a visitor must scroll down to view more content). Studies have shown that visitors pay most attention to the content that they see when they first arrive at a page.
The fresher your links are, the better. Visitors always want to see new content on your site. The easiest way to accomplish this is through Dynamic Rich Media links, available in the Create Links section of LinkShare. These links automatically update when Hotwire changes them. We recommend featuring banners or links from our promotional section; these are updated most often.
If you notice one of your links is not working correctly, you can get new code from the LinkShare Create Links section. If the new code is not working, please contact us through the affiliate contact form and we will fix it immediately.
Yes, the Create Links section has a variety of links that link to specific sections of Hotwire. If you cannot find the specific page that you require, please contact us and we can create a link for you.
Absolutely. We encourage you to put Hotwire links on all of your sites.
Content is updated multiple times per month as we run new promotions, offer better savings or test new graphics.
Yes, you can find them in the Dynamic Rich Media area in Linkshare's Create Links section.
You may bid on any term, as long as it is not trademarked or branded by Hotwire. Bidding on misspellings of trademarks or brand names is also prohibited.
